Setting Goals for Growth in 2015

25 Oct

It is about this time every year when we start looking ahead to the coming year and thinking about what we want to PADI logoachieve. Analyzing how we did each year and setting goals for growth is a key part of every successful business.

So, what should you be looking at? Analyzing your certification numbers is a good place to start. Check out your certification count year on year on your PADI Pro Account and see which areas have increased or decreased. Look at what marketing strategies worked this year and perhaps what didn’t have the desired impact.

Look at your Continuing Education statistics and associated retail sales – are your entry level divers signing up for another course? Are your recreational divers signing up to Go Pro and becoming a PADI Divemaster or Instructor? Are they purchasing equipment? If the answer is no there are several strategies you can put in place.

One thing you may choose to look at is sales training for your staff. This could cover selling techniques for both equipment sales and continuing education courses. You might look at conducting a Go Pro evening and invite students along for an informative evening to show them their options and of course the opportunities within the dive industry as a dive professional. PADI Regional Managers can assist in delivering these presentations.

Contact your PADI Regional Manager, they are here to assist and can help set up a Goals for Growth plan for your business for 2015.

PADI ReActivate is here

11 Oct

ReActivateYou’ve probably been asked – “I haven’t been diving in a few years, does my certification expire?” Your answer used to be – “No, but you should do a review.” Now, your answer will be – “No it doesn’t expire, but you can reactivate your certification and easily get back in the water.” It sounds much more exciting and rewarding.

PADI ReActivate™ is a new prescriptive program designed to help divers update basic dive knowledge and skills, and become enthused about scuba diving again. Because it’s prescriptive, divers move through it at their pace and receive what they personally need to regain comfort in the water.

The PADI Scuba Review program was one-size-fits-all, and although it worked, ReActivate is a modern approach to welcoming divers back to the underwater world and rewarding them for their efforts. Divers who complete both the knowledge review and water skills update receive a new PADI certification card with a ReActivate date on it.

For further details and materials, visit the ReActivate page at the PADI Pros’ Site.

To order please email padisales@padi.com.au or call +61 9454 2888.
