PADI Marketing support raising the bar high!

Over the last 3 years the PADI Asia Pacific Marketing Team has been on the road taking with them an arsenal of ideas on how to assist PADI Resort and Retail Association Members on how to improve the promotional side of their business. The results have been so good and so obviously clear cut that it’s nothing short of a master stroke of support for our Members. In Member Forums or Business Academies or in emails you’ve either heard about or read about the unprecedented growth in certifications in the Asia Pacific area described as PADI Members Shatter, Smash, Crush and Obliterate the past records and 2014 is well on the way to becoming another year of record certifications!

One of the key reasons for this success is due to PADI Dive Centres and Resort Members embracing the support the PADI Asia Pacific marketing team are offering and are even now exploring new promotional platforms to help bring in new customers. The on the ground marketing team led by Sheridan Hatcher also includes Kate Humphreys and Tom Daley who physically go into Members dive shops and work with key staff to help improve and implement marketing and advertising strategies with two main goals, lift customer inquiries and drive up certification numbers.

The Marketing Team do this in a number of ways and it starts with one clear question: How do your customers find your business? From there it’s a matter of selecting the social media platforms i.e. Facebook, Google, You Tube, Twitter, Trip Advisor as well as Blogs along with other promotional platforms that would assist here. The team cover signage and brochure design, eLearning banners, business card design, online banners, email templates and website reviews or whatever promotional vehicle you deem as successful in attracting customers. The results speak for themselves and a key direction for all of this is the return on investment for the member and the ability to measure the success of anything you implement. We all know that you can spend a fortune promoting your business so a fundamental key is to ensure you spend it wisely and are able to see the direct benefits of increased customer inquiries and a lift in certification numbers.
