PADI Instructors teaching in QLD, TAS and W.A. have the opportunity to promote to any Year 10, 11 and 12 school students that their PADI course receives credit towards their Certificate of Education. Reporting these students is simple – follow instructions provided for your State:

Queensland

In 2009 PADI successfully achieved recognition for the PADI Open Water Diver course as an endorsed training program by the Queensland Studies Authority (QSA).

PADI Instructors should conduct the training according to PADI training standards and report the following student details to PADI Asia Pacific Training Department before end October. Details include; full student name, date of birth, postal address, Learner Unique Identifier (LUI) code, sex, enrolment and completion dates, confirmation of achievement (PADI Open Water Diver), incl. a written consent from the learner to have their certification recognised on their Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) and their details recorded by the QSA.

Tasmania

In 2008 PADI successfully achieved recognition for the PADI Scuba Diver and Open Water Diver course as an endorsed training program by the Tasmanian Qualification Authority (TQA). We are delighted to announce that this recognition has just been granted for an extension till end 2018.
